Singham Movie Collection reaches Rs.100 crores

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's action-packed 'Singham', starring Ajay Devgn being an honest cop fighting to clean the system, offers earned Rs. 100 crore net in India within its sixth week. '

It is said to become the seventh film all time to have entered the mark of Rs. 100 crore net within collections. Produced by Reliance Entertainment, the film continues to be going strong in the theatres. It will total 50 days Sep 10.

'A hard-hitting story, the wonderful mixture of director Rohit Shetty and star Ajay Devgn plus some amazing action sequences have resulted in an extremely successful run for that film, ' Sanjeev Lamba, CEO, Reliance Entertainment said inside a statement.

''Singham' is the first mainstream film made by Reliance Entertainment and we are very pleased using the results, ' he added.

The cast of the actual film also includes Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj.
