Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa released safe record openings. Producers and distributors eyeing upon very first week collections to cash Pawan Mania have released ‘Panjaa’ in maximum quantity of screens available in Andhra Pradesh whilst existing movies like Mahesh Babu Dookudu, Balakrishna Sri Rama Rajyam, Nara Rohit's Solo and other small movies occupied or shared the remaining theatres in some places.
Now, talk of ‘Panjaa’ is almost out on the market giving a chance for medium and small budget films to check on their fate on December 16. At that time, ‘Panjaa’ falls into second week. On the positive note, we are to see a flurry of nearly 8 movies releasing on a single day of December 16 which is a record of sorts. From Priyamani’s "Kshetram", Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkaduntaa, Mission Impossible 4, Journey, Deyyam Undaa?, Rathi Nirvedam, Duniya and Vana Kanya Question Veerudu.
If ‘Panjaa’ continues to stay in maximum number of theatres within second week, then above said 8 films is going to be slaughtered at Box Office without getting a screen thus to create the debate of big producers killing small movies back to the main stage.
