The actual newly wed couple Ram Charan Teja and Upasana Kamineni upon Saturday performed special pooja to Lord Venkateswara at hill shrine Tirupati seeking blessings for any prosperous and happy married life. The couple also participated in the actual Kalyanotsavam of Lord Sri Venkateswara. The veda pundits blessed the handful of bright future. Accompanied by his father and Rajya Sabha fellow member Chiranjeevi and Apollo Group Chairman C Prathap Reddy and members of the family, the couple went to the darshan of Head of the family Venkateswara during VIP break darshan in early several hours and performed special poojas at Ranganayakulu mandapam.
Earlier, all the members of both families reached Tirupati in a special flight through Hyderabad and offered special poojas at Padmavathi Ammavar within Tiruchanur. After performing special poojas, the actual couple proceeded to Aragonda, the native village associated with Prathap Reddy. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's Chairman K Bapiraju made unique arrangements for Ram Charan Tej and Upasana couple for that darshan of Lord Venkateswara. At Aragonda village, after having darshan associated with local diety Lord Anjaneya Swamy, the couple would take part in the inauguration of water treatment plant and the school.
