Urumi Movie selected for Busan Film Festival

Santosh Sivan's magnum opus, "Urumi" has been officially selected for any screening in the prestigious Busan Film Festival. The film festival is going to be held in Busan, South Korea from October 6-14. Urumi will probably be screened in the 'A Window to Asian Cinema' area. Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Genelia, Nithya Menen, Amole Gupte, Jagathy Sreekumar, Vidya Balan star with this period film which narrates the story of an uprising in Kerala from the tyranny of Portuguese, led by Vasco Da Gama, within early 16th century.

Apart from Urumi, few additional Indian films, such as Noble Thief, Stanely Ka Dabba, The Temple and The Address will be screened in this 'A Window to Asian Cinema' area.
